This extraordinary
66 acre (26 ha) oceanfront property offers
spectacular views of the Yuculta rapids to the west
and Calm Channel to the south. The low bank
waterfront, totalling approximately 2400' (730 M),
encompasses two points, sheltered deepwater
moorage, a clam beach, and two barge landings. A
year round stream empties onto the beach in front
of one of the prime building sites. A new and
substantial dock infrastructure is in place, and
roads connect the barge landings and the dock
access sites to a number of private waterfront
building sites.
Kellsey Point is
located on Stuart Island, which is about 120 miles
northwest of Vancouver, British Columbia. Stuart
Island, part of the Discovery Group, lies at the
mouth of Bute Inlet, at the northern edge of
Desolation Sound. The city of Campbell River is 45
minutes away by boat, and 15 minutes by float
plane. Complete seclusion is assured, as access is
by water only.
Stuart Island is
home to a number of very exclusive estate
properties, corporate retreats, and upscale salmon
fishing and eco-tourism resorts.
The area abounds in
wildlife and primeval beauty.
